This Stylver Luxury pocket knife has a stainless steel damascus blade and a buffalo crust and mammoth crust handle.

Buffalo crust comes from African buffalo, one of the “big five” species. Marked by wild life and the struggles of the animal that carried it, it naturally presents, on a brown base, nuances of color and roughness that we highlight on our knife handles.

Mammoth crust is a king material in the world of high-end cutlery. The crust has natural shades of blue, green and brown, due to the presence of an iron phosphate, the vivianite. Mammoth tusk remains one of the rarest and most difficult materials to collect (Arctic environment).

Feeling from the workshop

The Damascus blade of this STYLVER® knife is made from a twisted martensitic stainless steel bar called “Vinland”, the name given to a Canadian territory discovered by the Vikings.

When ground and revealed, this Damascus steel reveals a highly appreciated abstract and irregular pattern.
