Les lames de Gabriel et Solange were carefully designed and developed around the handle, which was intended from the outset of the project to be symmetrical and grip-like to ensure a comfortable hold.
Numerous sketches and several prototypes were then required to imbue each blade with the GOYON-CHAZEAU style and balance.

Thus, Solange’s bread knife features an original blade shape that departs from the classic rounded tip, yet remains highly effective!

Les Lames de Gabriel et Solange

Les lames de Gabriel et Solange (Gabriel and Solange blades) is a range of kitchen knives created in tribute to the founders, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of GOYON-CHAZEAU.

Le Pain is a bread knife with a long serrated blade (wide serrations), ideal for cutting through the crust of bread whilst keeping the crumb intact.

Care instructions

We recommend to handwash the articles with a soft sponge.
Do not leave in prolonged contact with water or a heat source.
Wipe as soon as washing is completed.
Store in a dry place.

A serrated blade does not sharpen. Contact us if the knife no longer cuts.

Wipe the handle from time to time with a drop of linseed oil or olive oil to restore its shine.

Firm on the crust and gentle on the crumb, Le Pain of Gabriel and Solange exists because, in France, you always need something to slice bread properly!
This knife will also be very useful for cutting large fruits and vegetables with very thick skins.
